Retail distribution review interim report issued

The move follows publication by the Financial Services Authority of its interim report, which is intended to continue the discussion process. It is important to note that no firm policy decisions have yet been been taken.

The FSA is now looking at the possible commercial and consumer impact of its plans, and will undertake further research and discussions with involved parties before issuing its final report in October 2008. Firm policy proposals are likely to be published shortly after that.
